Weird vibes from the statistics tab...

I'm not sure what to make of this... It would seem that BOINC thinks that time ran backward for a little bit on Oct 22... Not causing any problems, just curious to know if anybody else has seen this. Forgive me if I'm clogging up the forums with inconsequential fluff.

As long as that sort of thing doesn't show up on your stats online, I wouldn't get too worried. The credit graphs in BOINC manager are generated locally based on returns from the project(s), if it got some garbage data it could do something like that. There is a way to refresh/reset the graphs, but I don't recall off the top of my head.

Re: Weird vibes from the statistics tab...

The agent records statistics for each day, updating the project stats after each connection with the project, till a new day starts on your node. In this case, the calendar date or time of the machine was changed long enough to record whole/part of one day also on the next day, then the calendar/time was corrected again.

Default the last 30 days are maintained. A cc_config setting can change this. Got mine on 90 days. Times are recorded as seconds since 1.1.1970, so when you go into statistics_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml you could mess with the last few data points, for instance remove the 2nd and 3rd last so the 22nd eod connects directly with the last of the 23rd.

For sure the agent shows the data point connections chronological. When editing, stop the agent first.
