No tasks are available for the applications you have selected

Has the CEP2 well run dry? I'm getting the following msg:
11/2/2014 6:07:02 AM | World Community Grid | No tasks are available for the applications you have selected

Thanks, CJSL

Hi,

There are plenty of units avaliable from our end, this may be an issue with the distribution mechanism - I will alert our friends at IBM

Re: No tasks are available for the applications you have selected

I got this message from the server:

Message from server: No tasks sent
Message from server: No tasks are available for The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2
Message from server: Tasks are committed to other platforms

Does this mean, Windows computers are no longer served?

No.

Are you limited by the CEP2 Project Specific Settings in the profile for that device?

Or else it's a server problem, some discussion here .

Re: No tasks are available for the applications you have selected

Tony,
thanks for your reply. I wasn't limited by the project specific settings, as I have crunched lots of CEP2 tasks before. Most likely, the message was related to the server. Later in the day, I got another CEP2 task - so this was a temporary issue.
Meanwhile I found this in the FAQs:
"There are certain times each day when the slots for a given project in the shared memory segment become "full" of tasks that are designated for a particular platform (Linux or Windows). These usually only last a few minutes or seconds, but can sometimes last up to 30 minutes."

Re: No tasks are available for the applications you have selected

Hi, I've set up host with 32GB RAM, 8 core AMD FX8350, loads of spaces, CentOS 7. My issue is, I am not getting work units from CEP2. With other projects the host works as expected. All my other hosts regardless the OS and hardware receives some CEP2, but not this one. Is there anything I should check (apart from the project settings, because as I said, for other hosts in the same hw profile I get WUs).
