These tasks are only a portion done before they report back to you. Is there a reason for this because im still getting credit. I do have a 4770k but it still says 8 to 9 hours to complete a task.

The percentage complete for CEP2 compares the CPU time used to the cutoff limit which is hardwired into the application. The current cutoff is 18 hours. On my old i7 the completion time was usually between a third and a half of the estimate.
