Beta Hog heaven, even got 40+ after the upgrade resume. (150 for barely 2.5 days adding to the contribution tally) Did you intervene manually? Most of my machines were at >3 hours back-off for data file uploads and, of course, when they can't upload the beta data files, they aren't allowed new beta work. (If you want to add more days, run some old hardware. A PII/350 takes 10-20 hours on these.) |

OET1 Beta underway, 30K work units [times 2 maybe if that number was given without the replication factor ]. Not all of them will be quorum=2, as my Linux machine has completed enough successfully that is now getting mostly quorum=1 unless it is the verifying copy in a quorum=2 situation. Rear view mirror perfect 20/20 vision indeed it was less than 60,0000, not counting repairs ;>) By and large all tests are at least quorum 2, the lucky who manage to get 20 'validated' as the rule, not completed, off a single machine during a beta are few and far between. In this case them being so short and not many seemingly expecting this just before the long outage, the MMing also helped to see a number of sets come through without wingman... 3 machines, 1 was powered up for this event, and exactly 10 pages completed, 150. Beta Hog heaven, even got 40+ after the upgrade resume.  (150 for barely 2.5 days adding to the contribution tally) 67 pages of results for me. Not sure if any single machine made reliability. If they did it wasn't on many results. Only two invalids and that machine will probably be retired soon anyway.  |

I am opted in for this project since its start, but have not received one single WU yet. I checked everything, but cannot find a reason for this.
Any ideas anyone? Ah btw, I still use Win XP on a machine with 2 GB RAM. |

I am opted in for this project since its start, but have not received one single WU yet. I checked everything, but cannot find a reason for this. Since this evening (PST), there are OET WUs being available again, so with a low priority on the feeder side.Any ideas anyone? Ah btw, I still use Win XP on a machine with 2 GB RAM. I got a bit over 100 by on about 15 different hosts. Just be patient young grasshopper, the OET WUs will come...  Ralf  |

Since about 16-17 hours now, it seems my machines are getting plenty OET work units.
Run times vary from under 10 minutes to over 4 hours. No errors, no invalids at this time. If this keeps up, then my badge should arrive in a few days. No micromanaging though.  |

For a 'feel' how we are doing now on the first gear up day, the daily record before the recode break stood at 23.2K results. The front page at this time shows 49.6K for today through 18:00UTC. On the exponential curve, heading towards 70K+ result for the day. Not as hard to get now, a UGM1/OET1 profile gives one device here about a 50:50 task assignment count.

Have you unchecked all other projects? I tried that too, but did just receive nothing from WCG as a result. In fact, I want to crunch on all current projects, but I am wondering why still not a single WU has made its way to my computer...... Seriously, try unchecking all other projects first. Then show a little patience. Since last night, pretty much all my hosts are getting their share of OET WUs but as there is a low feeder priority according to Keith (uplinger), with a single, kind of low-end host, you just need to be patient. If your hosts is requesting WUs when they are in the feeder, you get some, otherwise you get some from the other projects, unless you have unchecked that option as well.
----------------------------------------And of course, running any non-WCG projects as well would reduce your chances of getting any OET WUs, just to cover all the bases here... Ralf |
