Yes, as per my post above to update footnote 3 on the Minimum Requirements page, you need at least Android 4.1 as that features the PIE programming function. This is required for the new science app [also for Outsmart Ebola Together project].

I have a Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.4. For the last several days every task has been failing immediately. Do I need to update it to a newer version? If so, how would I do that manually? Check out the links below. The second one has step by step instructions. Make sure you download all the correct files and read through the steps carefully. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/I9100_Info http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_i9100 ![]() |

Not sure if this is your model number but you could install Cyanogenmod on your Kindle. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Tate_Info I installed CM11 on my Kindle Fire 2, which was also released in 2012. ![]() |

At admin: Please update footnote 3 of https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq to say the minimum requirement is Android version 4.1. Thanks Rob - this has been done. ErikaT |
