Re: Run time way to long

Things look to go a little bonkers... morning session 207K results validated with average runtime of 40 minutes. Buffer is loaded to setting with batch 462 tasks, the highest sub number

World Community Grid 7.19 oet1 OET1_0000462_xZAGP-S_rig_91022

As in, one batch with at least that many tasks in it. The client is giving them 42 minutes TTC, close to the current project mean.

Yesterday morning saw a batch 485 task and nothing received has gone above that since.

Re: Run time way to long

There must be up to 100,000 WU in a batch if the numbering system is an indication of the batch size. It would be interesting to see how many batches they anticipate and how many on average they expect to have in a batch. However, if they are building the new batches based on the results of the previous batches, then even the researchers would not know until the batch is built.

Highest number in #462

Re: Run time way to long

Hard to say as there's no leading zero's being used [a sorting nightmare on top]. Those that had a sequence number less than 1000 did have a leading zero,

Re: Run time way to long

There was a 99948 already, but topping that with...
7.19 oet1 OET1_0000462_xZAGP-S_rig_99974_0 01:13:13 (01:09:46) 2/16/2015 1:46:10 AM 2/16/2015 1:46:47 AM 95,29

It's safe to say with 460 through 466 not having gone above 999nn, the current batches are 100K at most. Strangely, had just one 485 4 days ago, and after that all that came were lower. At a 240K results projection for today, that just about 2 batches a day [considering a subset of those will be run with wingman]. Continuing to be stuck on the 3 percent progress mark on the research page. At this low feeder priority pace, the project will take a little...

Crowd Crunch On.

P.S. Mean runtimes were this morning 1.42 hours
