Okay, so we get it that the database was upgraded in February

Isn't it about time to stop with the upgrade announcements every time the client boots? (This machine is showing two of them (both completion notices, but dated one week apart), but I think another machine only showing the later one, and I'm pretty sure that at least one machine is not showing any of them.)

Re: Okay, so we get it that the database was upgraded in February

The 'persistence' of messages is not caused by WCG, but by the way the client handles them [and local settings]. If you open the link in the notice, it will disappear after some time. If you don't they will sit there till they expire [could be 14-30 days IIRC].

If you have multiple machines, set only one client on the computer most used to get notices and set the others to 'never' in Tools > Options > General tab 'Notice reminder interval'.
