Re: Good news on Ebola from Liberia

We've got an ebola news thread [for every project we have an 'Interesting news' thread: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,37511 , the bad news today also that Ebola can hide itself in the eyes, as was found with a doctor survivor http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2015/05/07/40...n-who-was-considred-cured

Yep, but that's also good news, since he has been treated and is doing well.

Re: Good news on Ebola from Liberia

Hello,

Other news on Ebola: On April 3, 2015 in Science vol 348,pp.117-9 appeared an article:
Mutation rate and genotype variation of Ebola virus from Mali case sequences., by T. Hoenen et al. (24 authors).
Conclusion: This finding has important implications for outbreak response and public health decisions and should alleviate previously raised concerns.
