Hello Rob,
here is the folllow up on this error. The Workunit has not been finished successfully by any machine. Four (!) times error, and one time too late: Do you need the logs or not? Once the magic number has been reached, the WU will no longer be sent out. I don't know what it is for CEP2 but on some of the other projects it is 10 (0 - 9) and after that, the WU will be turned over to the WCG/the scientists. No need to track this WU, the system will take care of it automatically.

Greetings MS ... No logs needed... they seem to tell nothing useful in this case. The error max number of copies for CEP2 is 4 as [as can be seen from the distribution, by ianbrown too ;]. The last one [suffix _4] found no wingman, so it was converted from Pending Validation/Verification to 'Too Late', to get a matching validation. The way to read, using the sent and receive timestamps is: _0 at status of being allowed to do it alone failed after max 18 hours computing. _1 same again, except it finishes all 8 jobs in 10 hours _2 + _3 Logic now forced 2 more repair copies to go out same time, they failed probably same way... validator somehow seeing the results as outliers too. _4 Sent out shortly after _3 got dismissed too. Did it pass the PVal/PVer state after return before going Too Late? The modtime would have indicated, as that is the last time the validator transacted with that Work Unit. Alll things must pass, this one too. The error exit-status code from your result would still interest using the discussed API extraction method. [And no the heat keeps building and building... 28.6C at 08:30AM, 26.7C at 05:30 when sun was still just below horizon, so I'll be laying low again today, day 4 of the 2015 2nd heatwave] |
