Received one on my Linux barebone with a Celeron N2930:

It's running for ~11.5 hours now. Roughly 20 hours to go, trickle up messages working perfectly.
No issues or abnormal behavior up to now.

More likely it's because the Beta validator wasn't re-enabled before the stats run. It has been re-enabled now. Also, some more Beta units have just downloaded here.
The childs are coming in waves. Like the children are coming after a long power outage,
the childs are coming after someone/something pushed the button.
This morning between 05:20 and 05:25 UTC a lot of childs were delivered:
16 childs of 2nd generation
 7 childs of 3rd generation
12 childs of 4th generation
10 childs of 5th generation and
 4 childs of 6th generation
1 child doesn't start with a 100k step, but with a 60k step. 1st generation is the initial parent-batch.

Edit: 1 parent resend running, started with step 0, although the wingman uploaded several trickles.

The concept of 're-send' does not exist for FAHB, with maybe the exception of 'No Reply'. New tasks are generated from whatever 10K block there was a last trickle.

Got one by accident, 5th generation it would appear, but there could have been e.g. 00380000 before that happened to quit at 00400000 biggrin

48.00/53.75 = 89.3 % efficiency on Win 7 with 2 shutdowns on AMD 9150e at 1.8ghz.

There's commentary up above about restarted tasks suddenly taking much longer [in the remaining time projection]. The result logs would reveal what really happened... was something computed twice e.g., or was it just bad FPOPS in the task headers and/or the client just picking up a new average figure from the server after the restart?

On the 31st midnight status update shows 39 result returned consisting of 0:032:03:17:12 run-time. This could be an indication that this Beta is coming to a close.
More likely it's because the Beta validator wasn't re-enabled before the stats run. It has been re-enabled now. Also, some more Beta units have just downloaded here.


There was an issue with the validator that basically got stuck for quite a bit. I needed to add a few new checks into the validator so it won't get stuck again in the future. At the moment it is running again. However adding work is a manual process right now because it is beta. So that is why new results come in waves.

We are also hoping to have more than 2000 work units in progress for beta soon, so we might see new results in a few days.

I don't see anything unusual in the logs. Just everything taking longer. Below is one of the logs. I posted another log earlier. Compare times between checkpoints/trickles before and after the reboot to see what I mean. It checkpointed at 53000 at 16:18 then appeared to restart normally at 16:25 after the reboot. CPU times between checkpoints before the reboot were on the order of 400-450 seconds, versus 800-900 seconds after.
