Re: Limited workunits for Help Stop TB

OK: I now have everything off except WCG, and everything there shut off except Help Stop TB and The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 . Unfortunately, four climateprediction.net jumped in there while I was turning off most of my WCG projects. It will take most of a week until they are gone. Climateprediction is now in no new tasks state.

So far, I have received no HelpStopTB work units.

@Jean-David Beyer
Clean Energy Project was having trouble with errors so it is getting some service done; aka no/few new WUs until they are ready. And as TB is limited, it might make sense to attach to something else so your cores aren't waiting for work.

Re: Limited workunits for Help Stop TB

Yes, it looks like we got quite a few over the weekend. Now the question is "Why do they take over a week in Pending Validation?".

Because the wingman takes that long to complete the second unit.

"And as TB is limited, it might make sense to attach to something else so your cores aren't waiting for work."

Trouble is, when I did that, I immediately got four ClimatePrediction work units, each of which takes a little over a week to complete.

Set CP to 0% work share, so that it is a back up project. This way, it'll only ask for CP work if your machine runs out of WUs from WCG.

Also, you might consider something that isn't CP...

Re: Limited workunits for Help Stop TB

I still get a decent number of HST1 WUs from time to time. Only one more completed and valid WU from a Silver Badge, so it is possible with patience to get some HST1 WUs to crunch, even for us smaller crunchers...
