Why has the Percent Complete been decreasing since November 2014

On November 14, 2014 the Estimated complete was 68%. It has steadily fallen to the current 21% while all other project have had their percent complete increase over time as expected. What is different about this project?

Re: Why has the Percent Complete been decreasing since November 2014

The difference is this project has zero to few active WUs running. The percentage you are looking at is not calculated by % completed, but looks more at number of WUs completed in X amount of time (or something along those lines). It then takes that into consideration as to how much more time is expected before the project is completed. As the project has been stalled for multiple weeks, it is messed with the algorithm results.

The same is true with OET as the percentage jumped quickly to over 90% but the techs are saying there is another year left before it finishes and the percentage will go down as time goes by.

Re: Why has the Percent Complete been decreasing since November 2014

We told them not to use "last month averages" for calculation in algorithm...but NO, they're still up to it!

Using algorithm that will go with the "averages from the beginning of the project" will be more accurately...
cool

In addition: the CEP2 doesn't really have a "Done" to measure against. As long as the scientists get funding, they keep making more sets of molecules to run, since chemical space is essentially unlimited.
