New version of Android BOINC - 7.4.43

A new version of the Android BOINC client, 7.4.43, is now available in the Google Play store since April 15. Does this new version fix any of the problems that have been giving WGC crunchers headaches?

I don't lurk there. However, the same information is posed in the version notes in the Google Play Store, but I have no idea what the effect of those 3 items (Updated Localizations, Upgraded to OpenSSL 1.0.2g, Upgraded to LibCurl 7.48.0) are. It doesn't seem to say anything was fixed, but one can be hopeful. good luck

I was hoping that someone had noticed something useful and had good news to report. Anyway no one had reported that a new version was out, so this thread is serving that purpose too.

The can print does not say there's a download fix (back ported from 7.6.29) but neither has but 1 complained about the image download issue in the past few weeks **. Sure as heck my android has not encountered it running OET which is sole selected for its profile.

** Got fixed during the last big server out and followed by an immediate ballooning of runtime contributions from ~400 to 460-490 years/day, though I've seen another amazing explanation why that happened.
