I have 7 of batch 9999984 just turned Valid after 1.16 hour runtime on an i7-4770K. They're running as beta21. Haven't tested restarts yet.

Missed it in the announcement, but these seem to process with some sort of priority push, that is to say, with 24 hours or less deadline, the client WILL always prioritize these. You, the techs, may also want to look at the report_result_immediately tag. Seems projects can signal the requirement to the client. Looked in the client_state but could not immediately discover this stick.

OK, dont know who planted this tag, the project or the client's scheduling but all have this
<once_ran_edf>1</once_ran_edf> where _edf stands for Earliest Deadline First. Hope the client does not start to mess up things when there's more in the buffer than can be run concurrent! Maybe limit distribution to 1 per core to race through the seedings (been there discussed this for other sciences, with zero project response or view). |

I think once the task was in HP that flag is set to 1 to avoid other similar tasks also to start in HP. |

Makes sense, if the counter of those with 1 = number of active threads, don't try run any other and end up with many going into 'waiting to run' panic. My buffer is 0.5 days, and prioritizing does kick in if said deadline goes below 24 hours. Guess, if buffer is zero, no need to mark anything EDF, they'd run anyway immediately upon receipt, or within minutes (there's always a little pre-fetch in anticipation of a task imminently finishing).

FAH2_ 9999985_ avx38789_ 000001_ 000698_ 001_ 0-- Microsoft Windows 10 Core x64 Edition, (10.00.15063.00) 718 Valid 10/14/17 15:09:26 10/14/17 18:34:25 3.34 110.9 / 110.9
After a suspend, with "Leave in memory while suspended" set to off, this one restarted ok from a checkpoint. Result Log looks ok. Also received these 2 repair jobs, themselves spawned from earlier jobs, I think (002 at the end). FAH2_ 9999984_ avx38789_ 000001_ 000467_ 002_ 1-- Tree4 In Progress 10/14/17 19:32:16 10/15/17 19:32:16 0.00 / 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 FAH2_ 9999984_ avx38789_ 000001_ 000853_ 002_ 1-- Tree4 In Progress 10/14/17 19:32:16 10/15/17 19:32:16 0.00 / 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 In both cases, the _0 error was the boring "couldn't start app: CreateProcess() failed - A required privilege is not held by the client". |

----------------------------------------Took 3.19 hours, got 99 points. A far cry from the 1 hour it was supposedly going to take ;). Thanks.

Got 10 betas today. All ran on Ubuntu machines with Xeon Sandy Bridge CPUs. Four batch 986 wus ran right at six hours. One batch 982 and one batch 985 ran in three hours forty minutes. Four batch 984 ran in one hour 10-15 minutes. All valid.
----------------------------------------BTW, do we still need the old beta26 data in Results Status? |

Hello New to this beta thing - where exactly are you finding this information? In appdata, locating a bunch of *txt files - or am I not looking in the right place? Any help is appreciated as I'd like to give as much info as I can.
