I'm pleased to see another example of one of these beta units surviving a machine restart. They seem very resilient.

FAH2_ 9999993_ avx38789_ 000001_ 000028_ 052_ 0-- ran yesterday. Paul. The 9999993 batch has 'ony' 10k steps and the 9999994 batch has 30k steps, so in theory will last longer to create next generations (except when it are rabbits  ) |

One would expect to at least manage to get to an average of 1 per 24 hours in the long run, being the deadline in a sequence, so _36 is an improvement (quite surely because one series needs longer processing time -per task- than the other, bar successive mishaps)
----------------------------------------BTW, are the seeds 'platform bound', or can they go to any of the supported OSses i.e. whence _0 goes to Windows, do all children also go to Windows? BTW, are the seeds 'platform bound', or can they go to any of the supported OSses i.e. whence _0 goes to Windows, do all children also go to Windows? (Just curious, not really something I must know ;o) I don't see how they can be, as I've seen a _32 unit sent to a Linux machine, which errored. and the WU was re-sent to MSWIn, so it seems to me that the WUs are not bound in any way. |

That's good, as than no limited availability platform would slow down the proceeding of a task and it's seeds.
