Agreed, cooling seems to be the biggest challenge in running these processors, (once you get past the initial cost).

my team captain got his up and running MCM. Looking good so far. I can't get mine till Friday. Looks like it's gonna produce about 124k boinc points/day (868k WCG points). Temps and power draws also looking good.

VietOz, what kind of cooling are you and your team captain using, and what kind of CPU temps are you getting?

Re: 64 Core Threadripper coming February 7th. 128 Threads for $4,000

I'm using deepcool castle 360ex AIO. He's using the cooler master masterliquid ml360 rgb threadripper tr4. I'm running Universe atm, which is not as heavy load as MCM. My cpu temps are 67C-70C depends on the room temp. My team captain ran MCM for a few days full load and I saw the highest temp was 69C ... but he undervolt the CPU so the clock was cap out at 3ghz I believe. When he tried to run it at 3.4ghz, temps hit mid 70s. I'm having bios issues with my asus board, so I can't really play around with it much. It's on Auto now and clock speed seems to max at 3.27ghz when running 100% Universe.
