I have an quad core Android tablet I bought just for crunching. It was running fine always had work in reserve until the Pandemic Beta came along. Now it just site there saying NO WORK AVAILABLE. I've noticed it it downloads a Pandemic or MCM WU, it immediately goes to computation error. I created a device profile just for this device and unselected Pandemic and MCM and it immediately downloaded 1 WU for Smash. It never would download more than one nor would it download any more when it completed that WU.
----------------------------------------Any suggestions or is it just time for the trash bin for this device?

I would suspect because of the errors, the quota for the device is set to a low value. In the event log, the may be a message that indicates the quota has been reached for the device. Once the device returns successful results, the quota will increase. There are only 2 projects for Android right now, MCM and OPN. SCC is paused

I'll check that but it's been running fine for a couple years (6513 returned results) so low quota shouldn't be an issue.

Even though I have it set for Smash only, it is also set to receive other work if none available. Still it just sits idle, refuses to download work. A couple years? So it must be an old tablet. The symptom is just like my Android TV-box, OK w/ SCC but not gonna run OPN or MCM. The problem is that it runs Android 4.2.2. OPN and MCM needs 4.4.1 at least. So, check the OS version. Don't worry and don't throw it away, you can use it to run Asteroids@Home or Universe@Home.

Android 4.4 is the specified minimum on the Help System Requirement table footnotes.
