confused [RESOLVED]Unexpected NVIDIA GPU message from World Community Grid appeared today
I'm getting this message in BOINC Notices from World Community Grid which is the only installed Project and has been for many months on the same machine:

Mon 22 Feb 2021 22:14:39 GMT | World Community Grid | Your settings do not allow fetching tasks for NVIDIA GPU.  To fix this, you can change Project Preferences on the project's web site.


It's actually incorrect as I have enabled usage of the NVIDIA GPU despite the fact WCG doesn't issue any GPU work units yet on my 'home' profile on the website which is ticked to set as default and the client concerned is set to use web preferences. There's not been any announcement to the contrary unless I missed something recently, so it seems an odd notice to receive from the project.

EDIT - Proof the settings are okay, so not sure what the message is about. Plus as suspected there are no GPU work units

WCG is BETA testing an OpenCL app for the OPN project.
There are some new settings regarding GPU's on the device profile.
Check them out and see if Nvidia is enabled.

Re: Unexpected NVIDIA GPU message from World Community Grid appeared today
Already did as per the above. Anyhow I have managed to resolve it by forcing the home profile via device options on the website to 'home' instead of Default which ignored the tick box in the 'home' profile to set 'home' as Default.
