IIRC, there were a lot of errors from OpenCL 1.1 capable graphics cards that had a driver that reported OpenCL 1.2 during the betas. that's fair, but I don't think it's inherently anything wrong with openCL 1.1. you have to think that any openCL that's 1.1 or older will be a very old GPU, which increases the chance that it might simply have a hardware or driver problem. i mean there seems to be a rather high number of intel GPU and AMD GPU users, and some nvidia GPU users that HAVE 1.2 capable devices, yet they are still experiencing issues (mostly seems to be the intel iGPU guys) based on the reports here. maybe at the very least the intel application shouldn't have come out of beta. ![]() EPYC 7V12 / [5] RTX A4000 EPYC 7B12 / [5] RTX 3080Ti + [2] RTX 2080Ti EPYC 7B12 / [6] RTX 3070Ti + [2] RTX 3060 [2] EPYC 7642 / [2] RTX 2080Ti |

Something up with points being awarded for OPNG? Barely more than the CPU tasks. I know it's only points but might be a hiccup that needs addressing. Could they be missing a 0 before the decimal point for some reason? Doesn't appear to be batch or machine specific although all affected batches start with 0002xxx

The batches that Uplinger mentioned that had more than 1 with were mostly 0002xxx. I suspect if he ran the command again now, there would be more batches on the list. I have noticed that the low point ones ran for less time than normal. ![]() |

do you notice that these low credit tasks ran much faster than before? They were slightly faster but not 5x faster. A quick check of 4 showed 32+ jobs in each task. It's not a big deal but we found a problem similar to this in beta with points and invalid tasks and Keith had to make some adjustments. Maybe just some funky batches. If there is something wrong he'll fix it. If not we'll keep chugging along.

I have three intel GPUs that are having hard time getting WUs.
----------------------------------------OpenCL: Intel GPU 0: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 (driver version 20.19.15.5063, device version OpenCL 1.2, 1630MB, 1630MB available, 200 GFLOPS peak) OpenCL: Intel GPU 0: Intel(R) UHD Graphics (driver version 27.20.100.8935, device version OpenCL 3.0 NEO, 6454MB, 6454MB available, 221 GFLOPS peak) OpenCL: Intel GPU 0: Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 (driver version 26.20.100.7262, device version OpenCL 2.1 NEO, 3206MB, 3206MB available, 192 GFLOPS peak) When I check the eventlog, the line that catches my eye is : 15.4.2021 18:30:15 | World Community Grid | can't fetch Intel GPU: project is backed off is there something I could do about this or just wait? Two of the machines have never received a gpu work unit (over a week now) and one has received five. E: other machines are receiving a fair amount of nvidia WUs and so many AMD WUs my olt laptop cant keep up ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by biini at Apr 15, 2021 3:40:46 PM] |
