Does this link work for others? https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewBoincResults.do?filterDevice=7710418 It should show 12 tasks sent at 4/17/21 14:47 or 14:49, all valid, with BOINC credit ranging from ~90 for 0.01 hours, to over 1,000 for 0.04 hours. That's a hell of a range. [looks like I'm getting some more - may have to scroll down to see that batch.] uplinger mentioned that points awarded is proportional to percentage of "calculations" performed. the app is coded in such a way that it has some number of calculations baked in, and if you find the solution with less calculations, you get less reward. his words were something like "if you only perform 60% of the calculations, you get 60% reward" but it seems that %calculations doesn't scale linearly with %runtime. This one is interesting. The 2 invalids ran on gfx900 GPUs. The 1 pending validation ran on a gfx1000 GPU. Since my GPU is a R9 280x I doubt it will validate so I'm not running it until the other "in progress" returns.

but it seems that %calculations doesn't scale linearly with %runtime. That's the point I was trying to draw out. It would take a bit of digging to get more decimal places on the runtime, but from here it looks like 8.27% of the credit for 25% of the runtime. |

Out of the few WU's I manage to get now, the majority turns invalid.
Getting any valid work done now, seems as futile as me going fishing for shark in my local freshwater lake.  |

Just got 16 from the 2075 batch all _0, and they all seem to run with "normal" runtime, validating just fine, and give a credit of about 1000+ to 1100+
