GPU causing too much trouble

Hey All,

Would love to be able to contribute my GPU to cause, any cause, but it just isn't working for me. I'm running two laptops; on one i have gotten 100% errors and the other runs a work unit for at times over 24 hours, suspends it and starts a new one that never finishes, then goes back to the original. The really fun thing is that every time they go into suspend mode they revert to 0 percent. These tasks that run for 24 hours also have a commonality where they start off at a decent pace, usually completing ~40 percent in the first hour but gradually crawl to a glacial pace. Lastly, ever since i started trying GPU tasks, my laptops randomly power off; this never happened before, but it is causing me to lose large chunks of African Rainfall processing.

So i'm out for now - i have aborted all received tasks and deselected GPU from my options.

Thanks lavaflow - i don't think so. Did not mention it, but one of the laptops sits in a docking station which has a monitor built into it and a secondary monitor available. Due to the design of the docking station, the laptop must be closed when using the dual monitors, and i use the camera for work meetings, which requires the lid to be up. So the point is it is open and closed periodically throughout the day and the shut down happens only when the lid is shut. So if it overheats with the lid shut only then you may be on to something, but wouldn't think that to be the case. Either way, every suspension is a reset to 0%, and this makes the whole thing too problematic.
