Can I change the GPU setting to .125 and therefore increase the number of GPU WUs that the GPU is crunching on? Yes There are a few example app_config.xml snippets earlier in this thread as well ![]() Primary: Intel i7-4790 + nVidia GTX 1060 Secondary: Intel i7-2600 + nVidia GTX 750 Ti OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed |

I wonder just how many teraflops (petaflops?) we're dumping into the project? ![]() Factor 10 for the moment (Points generated growing from 1 Mio to 10 Mio.): https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewP...&numRecordsPerPage=14

It's been running perfectly smooth for several hours.
So the adaptions in the file system may have helped :-) |

if it continues to run without major interruptions, with being at batch number 39500 now, we will be through with the exercise probably tonight (or early Wednesday, at the latest).
From what I remember, the last batch is 41773. |

WCG Tech did a good job. My system (Ryzen 7 3700x, RTX 3070) continuously gets tasks.
My app_config.xml in the BOINC\projects\www.worldcommunitygrid.org folder reads <app_config> <project_max_concurrent>0</project_max_concurrent> <app> <name>opng</name> <max_concurrent>3</max_concurrent> <gpu_versions> <gpu_usage>0.33</gpu_usage> <cpu_usage>0.5</cpu_usage> </gpu_versions> </app> </app_config> |

*got GPU-WUs now*
With an increasing level of dispair on an Ubuntu GPU RX580 rig after weeks without supply, I have found the cc_config.xml that did not disturb Einstein@Home but by some magic, removing that file and restarting BOINC, I immediately got many OpenPandemics GPU nodes. I cannot recall to have configured cc_config.xml that way, no idea what happened there. Maybe it was the restart itself that already kicked it, not the cc_config? No idea. Sadly, I had removed (Adrenalin is quite a substance) the cc_config.xml file and not gzipped it. Anyway, many thanks go to our project maintainers. WUs take 10 minutes. I'll investigate why not all cores are used - something flaky on my end, I presume. |

From what I remember, the last batch is 41773. Yup 41773 is correct, I went searching for the original source and found uplinger's post on page 8. The highest batch I have is 41429, so we are getting really close now... ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Etul at May 4, 2021 6:00:03 PM] |

Getting down to the bottom of the sack of kibbles. Hope there is enough around when that runs dry to keep something in the kibble bowl. At least it is ending on a nice run.

And we have reached batch 41773. That should be the end of the stress test batches.
