 I have installed the agent on four devices; under "Device Manager", all four devices show up; however, under device statistics, only three devices show up [all four devices have completed projects and show points tallied in the Member Information area. Any insight to the discrepancy would be welcome. |

I also have 2 machines running, both show up on my device manager, but when I log in, only 1 shows, although wcg is running on both.

Guys I believe the database is not updated until that machine returns a result. I also have 1 machine that is not showing up but it has not returned a single result yet. When it does I expect to see it in the stats.

Any insight to the discrepancy would be welcome.I dug this out Why doesn't my member page update results immediately when I upload them? The points on the Member Homepage only periodically. The points on the Teams web page update every 24 hours. When checking on your points, please keep these delays in mind. AND the Points are "off" a Little right now But They will fix it Right. I also have been having the same problem. I have 4 machines and only two ever show as summiting completed jobs yet all 4 show up in devices. I have been running these computers for 2 weeks now and still these two don't show up.
Does anybody from World Grid ever answer these forum messages! Need help NOW as we donate our computer time to a good cause, so please return the favour and answer your members questions! Thanks. |

You must first upload a completed work unit before a device is reconized. Then it must be posted in the nightly batch. Normally results from a device that completes a work unit are updated to stat's within 48 hours depending on what time you submit them. If it has really been two weeks ... well I don't know. Try tech support. <dataman> I don't think this answers this issue. Many of us seem to have experienced this problem even though our multiple machines have been running WCG for days or weeks. It would be nice to be certain that results and "credit" for all machines are being reported. Ed |

Ed,
I looked you up and from our systems you have 2 devices installed but only 1 of them has returned any workunits. Let us know if 'OFFICE' has returned a result or if you have installed more then 2 devices. Thanks, Kevin |

A device will not appear under device statistics until 6AM UTC the day after it returns its first result. Let me know if you do not see all four devices. |
