User Name just1vet 118187 <hostid>8697989</hostid> Mint21 ... I can see them appear in Transfer tab. Ten they completely disapear. A small handful does make it through. Sure sounds like you have the "Tasks" tab set to "Show active". A download would occur and then you wouldn't see the WU waiting because you're only viewing "active". Change Tasks tab to "Show All". Skip Nope, that is definitely not the problem. I can see all of my ready to start from the other project. Not space either. It has 32 gigs allotted for use. |

I have 5 new devices that are crunching away. Like everyone else here, I do see the jobs completed in the results page, but nothing in the contribution overview. In other words, I don't seem to be getting any credit.
----------------------------------------Once the system is fixed and the new devices are added to my profile, will I receive credit for all the work done during the time before my profile is updated with new devices? [Edit 1 times, last edit by mwroggenbuck at May 3, 2023 9:08:16 PM] |

Your guess is probably as good as everyone else's in here.Once the system is fixed and the new devices are added to my profile, will I receive credit for all the work done during the time before my profile is updated with new devices? The only ones "possibly" able to answer this are the folks behind WCG, and once again, they ain't talking... ![]() Ralf ![]() |

@mwroggenbuck
I have 5 new devices that are crunching away. Like everyone else here, I do see the jobs completed in the results page, but nothing in the contribution overview. In other words, I don't seem to be getting any credit. If you have provided your user ID and Computer (device) IDs so the devices can be manually entered in the database, yes.Once the system is fixed and the new devices are added to my profile, will I receive credit for all the work done during the time before my profile is updated with new devices? If you have not yet provided that information, then when the system is finally able to recognize new devices and automatically add them to the database - then yes, you will finally get credit. Unfortunately, there is no timeline on that being finalized. So, you might want to consider the first option. Happy Crunching! |

@Cyclops
bfmorse, Did you find that the results between the two names (old and new) get merged without issue? Judging from your comment, that seems to be the case, but wanted to verify that info. Yes, the device name changed in Results for all the WUs. The device name did not change in Devices. That needed to be updated manually. Did you have any WU's in progress when you renamed the device? Yes, all the WUs completed successfully after the device rename. Should I clear all WU's from the device BEFORE I rename it? I do not want to create unnecessary work for other volunteers. You should not have to clear all the WUs before the device rename. But it wouldn't hurt if you just want to be safe. Please report back with your findings. I would be interested to know if the new device name gets updated in Devices. AgrFan I have renamed three of my smaller systems and they appear in the RESULTS listing - now we wait and see how long the system takes to: 1) recognize the newly named device 2) merges the newly named system with the original named system. 3) a quick look SEEMS to indicate that the device ID remains the same. BUT have not verified that yet. I have RENAMED several of my devices to reflect their capabilities and when I did so they are no longer "seen" or reported in my stats.They DO show up in my RESULTS section but nowhere else. The DEVICE ID's for the missing (renamed) computers are as follows: Device ID 8500681 8505638 8561869 8562463 8547825 8437955 8549646 The following two Device ID's are for the same system (with slightly different names), the systems are visible but, please consolidate them if you can. 1002857 & 3203665 Let me know if there is anything else you need. Thanks, bfmorse |
