Hi all, we are aware of the sudden drought of workunits that some volunteers have experienced over the weekend and we are currently working to fix it. Hopefully I'll be able to share some good news about this situation soon.

Hi Joe, what do you suggest since I have no work units at all? Communication is deferred and nothing is working except non-WCG work units. I have no good suggestions. I wish I did. The problem is at Krembil's end. Personally , I added Denis@home because they work on heart disease. They have not had work units for quite some time, but yesterday when I ran dry they did have some. When I enabled them I got enough to last about 2 days, but they too are now out. Somebody else posted TN-grid had items for a while, but they were experiencing some problems. It appears when WCG runs out of work, the available capacity of WCG volunteers soaks up much of the available work from some of the other health related projects. This is a benefit to them, but probably they are not set up to get the influx of demand which happens when WCG dries up. For such a long time, outages for any reason with WCG were so few and far between they became a non issue, but Kembil is still exhibiting growing pains in attempting to replicate the stability and reliability of the system to which we had all become accustomed. My preference would be not to have an alternative project(s), but for now it will suffice to satisfy my yearning to help. Cheers Edit:spelling

Well, we are all really comforted by the idea that Krembil is thinking about hiring a communication professional. Surely that will solve the problems.
