I recently noticed that I get this status for 10 secs every time a task completes and uploads?
My setting for suspending BOINC is set at 90 % non-Boinc usage 4 core / 8 thread, setting set to 90% thread use at 100 %. The Windows 11 Advanced Power setting for CPU is set to 90 % to negate heat spikes. 10 secs doesn't seem like a lot until you multiply that by the number of WUs completed. |

If I should try to guess, I'd say antivirus is checking the upload. Which AV software are you using? Is BOINC data dir excluded from scanning? The simple solution is of course to disable that non-BOINC usage thing, it's pretty useless in nearly all cases anyway.

Link64, I unchecked both of those boxes regarding non-Boinc usage and the problem is gone - thanks. The bizarre thing is I used Windows Task Manager to see the spike when an upload activated and nothing spiked. Strange but thanks again!

I get the same thing. On version 7.16 I got a "uploading results" then it continued on. In version 7.22 I no longer see anything when a WU gets completed, it just goes to the next WU. I went to the log and saw it was "suspending computation-cpu is busy". It looks like a simple format change between versions, think the net effect is zero just looks different.
