I tried both ca-bundle files with the same result. I uninstalled 7.24.1 but didn't check that the Program Files directory had been deleted or that any directories in AppData had been deleted. Also I didn't delete the directory in ProgramData. I'll delete 7.16.11 and do all the other deletions before reinstalling. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've deleted and reinstalled 7.16.11 to no avail. I've compared the log with another machine also running 7.16.11 which has no problems.
Instead of showing this message 24-Jan-2024 07:52:45 [---] [http] [ID#0] Info: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to www.worldcommunitygrid.org:443 the log of the other machine shows TLS messages confirming that the connection is good. It looks like an obscure configuration error on this machine. Thanks for the suggestions. |

I think I'm having this problem too... all these tasks "Ready to report" but they're just piling up on my computer.

The first thing I can think of is to reboot the machine.... But first It's a connection problem. Go to the machine and open a command prompt and ping 8.8.8.8 OR open a browser and go to any site OR enter a search request and let the default search engine take over. Is there a response? If not check all the connections up to the router. If yes then reboot. What version client are you using? What OS? I'm having the same issue. About 20 WCG tasks are nearing their completion dates and have been ready to update for three days. So I suspended WCG until they get sent. I don't think it's a connection problem because Asteroids, Einstein, Milky Way and Universe are running normally. Windows 11 BOINC Manager 7.22.2 (64) SGaber |

The server problem appears to be fixed about 6 to 7 hours ago at a minimum.
----------------------------------------There was several people reporting here in various WCG forum posts about the scheduler being down. I'll link only to 1of them. Don't count on the WCG Admins to post anything on the forums here or use Social media when things go flat to let us know something is broken.... Especially on the weekends or holidays. There's a forum on the BOINC message board that I started a while back just for this reason since the WCG forum and severs can go down without warning.
