Remote monitor 30 BOINC computers

I am in the process of setting up a project where I will have 30 computers setup with BOINC to run the various projects available. I am trying to figure out some of the logistics of this project and wanted to get some recomendations.

So the first question I am trying to solve is how to monitor these computers while they are doing their work. I would probobly check on them once a day or week to make sure they are up and running. They will not have a monitor, keyboard and mouse, just the computer plugged into power. I am looking for suggestions of inexpensive remote monitoring solutions. I am receiving the 30 computers for free from a company that I helped that is now going out of business.

My other question for any electricians out there is how many of these computers can I hook up to a circuit without starting to pop them? The units are HP Elitedesk 800 Mini computers and use either a 65w or 90w power brick. They are lower power i3 and i5 computers. Asssuming I am have a standard 15 or 20 amp circuit, how many can I safely expect to connect? I can provide a screenshot of the power brick if it helps with calcuations. Just trying to keep from poping circuits or other more serious issues.

Thanks to community for any help you can provide.

Re: Remote monitor 30 BOINC computers

Volts X Amps = Watts. Multiply that by 80% to obtain the safe maximum wattage to pull on a continuous basis, and divide that by the watts used per device to obtain the maximum number of computers per circuit.

Re: Remote monitor 30 BOINC computers

For monitoring, BoincStats has BAM! which can serve that monitoring and admin purpose. I don't use it personally. I simply check my WCG contribution page periodically to make sure all the devices have returned work recently. Naming the computers with the same name & appended with a 1-30 would make it pretty easy to keep track, and notice any devices down.
