Error when running WCG - 2 instances of project running

Hello Everyone.
I think I should apologize for this post because the answer is probably a simple one that I should be able to find on my own but so far I've had no luck. When I try to run WCG on my PC, I receive a notice to the effect that I'm "running 2 instances of the same project" I'm then instructed to delete the project. When I try to delete the project, the "delete" button is grayed out.
This is where I turn to you folks for help.
I've even tried deleting and reintsalling BIONC but that didn't help.
I suppose I could delete my current account and rejoin WCG, but I'm hoping there is a less drastic solution to my issue.
I thank everyone in advance for the help and advice.

Re: Error when running WCG - 2 instances of project running

Generally, if the buttons to delete, reset, etc the project are greyed out it’s because you joined it via an account manager (e.g. BAM or Science United).

In Boinc Manager > Tools check the second line down - if it says Remove Account Manager or similar then you can take back control. If it says Use Account Manager then we’ll have to look for another solution.
