Hi all,
I run WCG on two computers, one running Windows 11, the other Linux Mint 21.3. Both systems have lots of tasks from MCM which they have finished as normal, but which are hung at the "ready to report" stage. No new tasks are coming through. Communication with the project keeps being deferred. Please can you tell me, is this expected (e.g. is there something being done on the project end?) or should I start troubleshooting? For reference, WCG was running fine for me previously and I haven't changed anything. Thanks, Robbie |

BOINC Database, WCG workunit management pipeline, website, upload/download of workunits should all be working now.

Still nothing. Good thing I don't care anymore. Still running it on two of my oldest computers, but no interest in adding it to newer machines. Not even curious why my personal page on the website says 0 points while the BOINC client reports 5.3 million points...
Actually my second time with WCG. So badly managed I dropped it and earned 12 million points on a different project. Which then went away, along with my interest in BOINC and its various projects... Seems unlikely anyone around here will recommend anything but WCG, though I'd probably consider others. |

@shanen0: WCG stats work fine for most, do you have the export stats option set? If checking third party stats sites nothing will show if the GPDR data sharing isn’t enabled.

Thanks for the replies everyone. My Windows 11 machine has received new tasks as of yesterday, still waiting on the Linux Mint machine but it sounds like that's expected.

Thanks for the replies everyone. My Windows 11 machine has received new tasks as of yesterday, still waiting on the Linux Mint machine but it sounds like that's expected. I am getting tasks for Linux Mint, but I had to manually request new tasks when I had empty queues. Once I got a few tasks, it seemed to remember to request new tasks again periodically on its own.
