Re: smile smile smile Join "My Online Team" Today smile smile smile

The UPS is back in PCWorld and we are hot wired straight into the National Grid again. It said 7-12 Minutes on the Tin but you would be hard pushed to get 7 seconds.

Hope you have better luck with the next one. I can't believe the luck you are having with power. Might it have to do with the fact that it is Friday the 13th?

I have long considered Friday the 13th to be a lucky day for me. Actually, my luckiest Friday the 13th was also the longest day of my life. It started on the other side of the international dateline in Vietnam and ended 38 hours later back home safe and sound in the USA.

What's that you say Scotty? "She canna take any more cap'n" biggrin

Cheers Spikey

The one I had was the 5th one down on the overclockers page 500VA and I had a 27% load on it. It must have been a duffer.

Overclockers is one of my favourite online retailers if they say next day they mean next day. Prices are not bad either + you don't have to fax them copies of your birth certificates and provide 2 personal references before they will send you anything (You know who you are wink)

I think I'll try the "Entry Level APC" next time around.

Tune in next week and hear Scotty cry "I'm givin' her all she's got, Cap'n, but we need more dilithium crystals!"

Dave

Back from boot camp training.. 9am till midnight for five days, they all felt like 38 hours.

Okay, I get that now. Some minor nitpicking then. Could that be made to read weeks instead of week then? Week (singular) 8 has specific meaning (the 8th week of the year, ordinal number) and that is differend from 8 weeks (plural). Or if I am overdoing it now, leave it as is wink

Congrats on the 100K Spikey

My next box of tricks must start out with a 3700+ Athlon64 San Diego core with 1Mb L2 Cache and SSE3 extensions and it's on special offer this week.

But all my pocket money is spent crying
