Yahoo! The 3rd rig is working and returning results for WCG and MOT. It took a while to track it down, but the fault turned out to be a naff RAM module. She's now fixed and rarin' ta go.
Can I ask a dumb question? Why doesn't a team the size of MOT have it's own forum? Just wonderin' is all. |

We haven't got our own forum by design If we did have then no one would post here There's no real need for a team forum because we have this great facility provided by IBM + passersby wouldn't see what a friendly bunch we are. We did have a live chatroom a while back but we kept missing each other as we are dispersed around the globe. So the forum idea is probably best. We did have a team email facility but I need to put password protection on the front end to stop it from being open to abuse btw the WCG agent always makes a good burn in program for a PC. Ram faults are always the worst to diagnose. Night Dave |

Thanks Dave, just wondered. Let me know if you guys change your mind, I could come up with a forum in the team colours. I'd even run it until someone else volunteered to take over.

 Unfortunately, I'm a machine down. It's been offline for several days now, and looks as if it won't be back online until nearly the end of the month. The box in question is about 2,300 miles distant and I'm supposed to have remote access to it, but something's gone cattywompus and I can't contact it. Naturally, there's nobody on-site until about 28 January, and I can't manage to contact anyone to stop by and take a look.Color me frustrated.
