Using your authority as community admin to intimate others for your or your friends gain is unethical at best. Especially when you use an alias to do so. Also makes me question what else goes on behind the scenes at WCG. That was why I left UD. The lies and deception from those in charge. Doesn't appear things are any different here just a different flavor. You & your team mates had no right to criticize that thread you found at Crunchers Inc. Your behavior has not been any better. Think I will move some resources over to rosetta@home. The ones that remain are iffy and only remain because my team is here and no other reason. I will not waste years here like I did at UD.

Such ado about nothing, or is it?

I have really debated about this whole issue. Them verses us but who are they and who are we? They think we are a group out to get them. We think they are a mob destroying teams using mob tactics. I think neither of us is really correct. I know I am not part of a group out to get anyone. I think they feel the same way about themselves. The problem is it’s easier to say us and them so forgive me when it slips out. We are just on opposite sides of one bitty issue.

Now what is the issue? From our side it’s easy. Some of us feel a mob goes around and kills teams others of us feel they’ve been bullied by these people.

From the other side it looks as if we a vendetta going on. They see a concerted effort poor mouthing an honest attempt to help the team they are on. They don’t understand why we do it. Problem is we aren’t making an effort so innocent comments get taken out of context.

Why did I speak up the first time?
It started simply a fit of peak on my part. Too many times did I start to follow a new team only for it to turn out it’s the same people under a different name. More than once did I join said team only to be disappointed? More than once I would have liked to leave the team once I found out but, like running into your mother-in-law on the street, you can’t leave until it’s polite. After all you have to keep the piece in the family. (AKA no hard feelings on the forums.) So I would shut-up and crunch my little bit and leave as soon as I could. (Sometimes the team would belly-up before I could leave.) This to say the least frustrates me.

Now I am going to have my say in as plain words as I can make them.

Kev, you hurt teams. I know you don’t mean to but you do damage and Graham helps you do it. I know of no other individuals that have been in the middle of as many teams breaking up than the two of you. Please think about why that is. It is not just a coincidence. Please think about why you are in some sort of dispute with someone on these forums almost constantly. Take me for an example; I have never been in a flame war with anyone else, EVER. If you care I will give you the reasons I think it happens to you but you’ll have to ask.
