Hi, the cool stat image created with http://sero.cwsurf.de doen't work anymore. What to do?

----------------------------------------The Stat image that you speak of is not produced by The World Community Grid. The site to which you refer was set up by one of our members who uses the member name of Börni and I have no way of contacting him. The images stopped working at some point yesterday. I noticed that the were again working at about 0930 UTC but were again broken 4 or 5 hours later. I hope that Börni is able to get the problem resolved as the images produced do enhance our forums. I have seen that Börni has been online to the forums. Hopefully he will see your post if he needs assistance. He was looking at threads in the Teams Forum, so I am certain he is aware of the problem and is probably trying to resolve it. Best regards, |

Boerni apparently moved his stat box to someplace that doesn't have external hosting. His generator hasn't worked for awhile, and the resulting path is different. Hopefully he is working on it, but I have posted bok's free-dc box in my sig so something will show up there.

Hi Lewis.
Thanks for your researches on the worldcommunitygrid.org site. I tried to fix the bug without using the shortlink, but it doesn't work. His provider seems to block all external linking. It's a great pity, because many members are using his image in their stats. I know, that Börni is member of the german Rechenkraft.net-Team. He produced the Stat-Image first for members of this team. He posted it in a thread of their forum: http://217.160.138.71/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=5306 I made a reply to this there an made a new thread in their help-section with a link to this forum: http://217.160.138.71/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=5939 I hope he replies soon. whatever is happening does not seem to be consistant Could well be a quota. Are the images visible at any particular time of day? I've never seen them back at all. |

I have seen them come and go a couple of times this morning (at least it is morning by my time in the US Eastern Time Zone). I believe they were here briefly about 0930 GMT and again for a short time around 1330 GMT. Regards, |
