Hello all,
----------------------------------------Just wondering, would it be possible to post some specifications and, even better, pictures of the hardware which is used for the WCG?? I've always been interested in all kinds of technologies and, for some reason, I found it always very interesting to see the specifications and pictures of the machines to which my pc was communicating. I would expect that the WCG servers take up quite some space and electrical power. So if possible, please give us a small sneak-peek?? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi depriens, Dagorath
----------------------------------------I've always suspected, with the lack of any evidence to prove otherwise, that knreed has this whole gig running on a dusty old 386 under the stairs somewhere in the depths of IBM. You remember, back in the days when 100Mb was a big disk drive and 4Mb of RAM cost as much as a small car ![]() ![]() |

I believe there could be some truth to that. One knreed has been poking around the retro forums looking for floppy drive cables with card edge connectors and a turbo switch for an old Packard Bell chassis. Could it be the same knreed?

Ah, great! Always interesting to see some technical specs. Especially something so big as the WCG. Thanks a lot!
