Re: CPU Benchmarks (what does it mean/where do I rank)

Hmmm, the FLOPS and IOPS are upside down. I think it's another one of those rare Pentium UD.

Yes BringBackFreeLove, a.k.a BBFL i think, wrote he had a P4 crancked up to 2.88Gh, standard 2.4gh with this odd Whet/Dhrystone benchmark. I have a P4 2.53, to refer to retsof's 'wazzit', but that benchmarks 1268 over 3100 (depending on the mood).

Very interesting numbers these. I built a spreadsheet with all of the faster machines in it. And some macros to sort by.

Re: CPU Benchmarks (what does it mean/where do I rank)

Nice values, my machine is about 5 years old... A P4 1,3GHz running with 512 MB RAMBUS PC-800 modules:

19.06.2006 20:54:53|| Number of CPUs: 1
19.06.2006 20:54:53|| 566 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
19.06.2006 20:54:53|| 1145 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU

Don't worry, it will be replaced/supplemented by a Conroe soon wink
