This may not be SETI@Home but it sure feels like it

Yoohoo is there anybody out there at WCG/IBM?

We haven't received any message from you for days now.

May be they've used all their Air Miles and are currently ensconced 427 light years away on a small planet in the vicinity of Betelgeuse.

May be our questions on the board haven't, travelling at the speed of light, yet reached their PC screens.

Hi IBM/WCG I've posted a few questions on the board I love to have the answer to.

I know you've entitled a forum member-to-member support but I didn't think you would apply this across all of the forum.

We don't have the power to change things. I didn't realise we'd be running the forums completely by ourselves.

IBM employ somebody to give us the feedback we crave. Allocate somebody, even if its a couple of hours a day, to respond. This should be part of your philanthropic commitment to this world wide project you have kicked off.

Talk back to us I can be contacted here here here and here

IBM/WCG phone home

Dave

Yep just like SETI@home you just crunch away and you hear nothing.

You always hold out hope that they'll prove you wrong though and "ET" gets in touch.

Have faith Dave they could be out there...........

Betelgeuse

Just don't say that three times in a row.
The politics I'll leave to others.

You make a valid point about repetition - just 10 years too late!

smile

Well if it proves anything it shows eternal hoping from the persistently stubborn.

(The makings of a good number cruncher smile)
