I guess we all have similar motivation. Since Grid.org and WCG are only projects having cancer research, I will continue to crunch at both places. Especially now when we're all here

Little question..
----------------------------------------could it be the stats update kinda slow here? I read individual stats get updated each 6 hours... I have turned in at least 5 or 6 WU's since yesterday.. but personal stats indicate only 1 ?  And something else... the BOINC client statistics seem to have a different point scale than the WCG stats, is that possible?? BOINC indicates me being @ 73 points, whilst the stats give me +- 400 points for that first WU that showed up... [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 24, 2006 2:55:08 PM] |

---------------------------------------- I forgot to mention that if you wish to use UDMon with WCG agent, you need to find the file udmon-wcg.bat located in UDMon folder. sorry hotrod I'm still trying to sort this place out! Just now figured out how to use UD-Mon. here I haven't triied BOINC YET!!! I have noticed that WUs seem to fly by I've got 4 or 5 on just one machine (according to UDMon logs) in hmm 9 hours!!!! No problem ;) I actually just noticed only now there was a UD look-a-like client for WCG!! I immediately started using BOINC yesterday... and must say I'm pretty impressed by it  You should certainly try it as well! There seem to be several kinds of workunits.. the aids units take about 5u30 on my Athlon 3500+, the cancer wu's about 2u30 each... The only thing I don't understand is how these darn stats are calculated within the BOINC program...  And does somebody knows what the RAC rating is?? |
