I use the UD agent on a PC but one of my team members needs advice for his mac which uses the BOINC agent.
----------------------------------------The advice I've given to a someone running the UD agent on a PC is to "just download the agent as before and at one stage there is a box to tick as a 'Previous Member' and the new device will show up under your member name as 'Device #2'" – but I'm not sure if the procedure is the same on BOINC. Could you tell me what procedure my team member should follow? |

It's not quite the same with BOINC. Your team member will have to log on to their WCG webpage, then click on "my profile" to get their boinc account key. Then just plug that information in BOINC during install when prompted and away you go.

Just to complicate it slightly… My team member's current computer is a mac but he wants to install on a PC too. Any difference in the procedure?

No real difference between the MAC and Windows BOINC setup. I run BOINC on my Windows computer at work because I like watching the stats tic over.
