Hello all. Nice graphics in your stats banner, Slapshot. Since you're into games, here's a riddle that I just posted in the WCG chat room. It was written by a famous Bishop from Oxford, and was over a century old with no known solution. Well, I hate to brag cool

... but I solved it ... and just wait until you see my answer. I think it really kicks axe. devilish

Hi Bill

There was a Teacher at my school that we had for about 4 years prior to me leaving, who was an absolute fanatic on lateral thinking puzzles. This then started me off on about errrrr 14 years of them. There was a gang of us who did nothing but lateral solving and also then crosswords and the like. I'm hoping I solved it but I kind of took a flyer based on three lines pointing to something ( I won't put it here ) that a little research in a book on my shelf sort of agreed with. At this stage it's still more than 50 / 50 but not 100%, so if I'm right feel free to send a mail back explaining the meaning behind what I couldn't tie in to it. My e-mail address is not witheld on the mail I sent.

Hi Everyone

Just a quickie ( Stats update that is ) we are now 109,629 points and ranked 4,666 ( the number of the beast LOL ).

Thanks Mr Valek about the comments on the banner graphics I quite like em as well. It's my character from UT2003.

Well with the addition to the ranks of Darkwing Duck that is a rise of 33.3% in our membership and we want more of you New Reqruits here at the WCG. Just join today and crunch well you play. biggrin

Stats update for ya, we now have amassed a spectacular 112,398 points and have achieved a rank of 4,629. An amazing 19 place rise. Keep up the fantastic work.

Come on all you Homeless Crunchers, New Crunchers, Linux Lovers, Minesweeper Players, Card Players, Doom Warriors and Online Gamers. Heck even Non Gamers GET IN HERE and support us all in the Wonderfull Commune of Gamers that is WWO, World Wide Ownage.

We now have an e-mail Signature in development for Mr David Autumns Wiki site for promoting the WCG through e-mail, websites, forums and blogs, more to come as I get it sorted later this weekend. ( Hopefully wink

Yesterday I sent David an html file to kick around that will put a button and text in both Outlook and Thunderbird e-mail clients for the WCG wiki to promote the WCG in forums and blogs and e-mail e.t.c.
Will post here to keep updated as to how it goes on.
