I went out fishing this morning at 6 and temp was 42. Didn't catch a thing. Not even a cold ?  Cheers Just a little ticked that I didn't catch anything. DNR sprayed some chemical in the lake so thinking it screwed them up. Red markers all over the place with no swimming or drinking the water. But, safe to eat the fish. I don't think so.

Probably Mosquito Control. I always get a little creeped out when I see the sprayer helicopters flying overhead.   |

Cut some of the lawn on Friday. Man was it dusty. We need rain badly. The grass looks bad, the weeds look healthy and the garden looks anemic. On top of that there is still a danger of frost. For crying out loud it is June. The good news even though the high is predicted for 58F(14.5C) there is 85% chance of rain today and boy do we need it. We had the third driest May in over 100 years. Hope that is not a harbinger of things to come.

It rained
---------------------------------------- Its about time! We need allot more. I cut grass yesterday and talk about a dust bowl. Time to go out and do a indian rain dance to help keep it raining.

High madeit to 52 yesterday, but only .25"(1cm) of rain. Disappointed on both counts.

Even if the climate is completely constant and unmoving in terms of cool/warm and dry/wet, we would continue to see record hot and cold, and wet and dry. It's Statistics 101. Lesson: don't worry.
