All of the big storms missed us thankfully. The wind blew, the sky turned dark, but it all blew over with no rain here and no power outages. The temperature dropped from the eighties to the fifties in about 15 minutes. I lost a lot of little branches and one major limb (on a tree of course) so we escaped pretty much unscathed. I saw the system spawned some tornadoes east of us in Wisconsin. It looked bad. I had to shut everything down for while as I worry about lightning strikes, but all is back on line.

 Just received my WCG Newsletter and was really disappointed to read that they are going to release a project on climate prediction. In my opinion I think it is as much a waste of time and money as seti. I may be moving on to some other grid provider, but will wait to see exactly what it's about. But I'm not holding my breath. |

Brink at least they mention two projects concerning disease, maybe all is not lost.
