Hi,I am from mainland ,China.I joined this grid just now.I think it would be better for you to make your agent able to be set the max cpu usage and max network band usage.
and another question: will the achievments of the grid be shared all of the world free? Thank you for your reply! |

Thank you for your reply! Welcome, cool_ice. In case you are not aware, the software we are using is a legacy system inherited from another distributed grid organization. The techs have already made some mods. and many more are in the works. Check in the archived posts to see what's been suggested. Feel free to add any suggestions. As to the charter of WCG, many members (myself included) have gone over this topic with a fine toothed comb. WCG has been specifically designated as the official philanthropic/humanitarian dividion of IBM sponsored distributed computing research work. All research projects must benefit humanity. And the results of all research must be released and available to the public domain. The majority of members of WCG would resign in mass were this not true. Again, welcome aboard and please feel free to contribute or ask questions.  |
