Reduced HFCC project priority

Due to a temporary problem sending results back to one of the Chiba server's we've reduced the feeder priority for HFCC to prevent a large backlog of results. Users with only HFCC selected should be able to continue to get HFCC work units, but users with multiple projects selected will see a reduction in the number of HFCC work units downloaded.

Let's hope that this issue gets resolved a lot speedier than the issue HCMD2 is suffering from...

Re: Reduced HFCC project priority

Ralf, you should still be able to get your Sapphire badge - although you may need to adjust your settings to just get HFCC WU's.

I'm slowly plodding my way along from Emerald to Sapphire with only HFCC selected, and as yet, I've seen no slowdown in WU availability. I just hope that the issue gets resolved soon, otherwise (as with the case of HCMD2), they may have to slow the project down even further. As yet though, thankfully, it's not got to that stage...

Re: Reduced HFCC project priority

Are the technicians aware there is an issue with the Chiba server & do they have an ETA to when server can receive results again?

Yeah, I know, but I still try to avoid that.
Beside that by now the queues have filled up with DSFL jobs and if I deselect that project now, as I know my luck, HFCC will come back to normal at the very same time I receive the new first HFCC WU's anyway... confused

Of course they know about this!
They are the ones who created this thread and reduced the priority of HFCC!!

I'm aware that Seippel is a WCG Techie. From Seippel post at top of thread I get the feeling the Chiba server with problems is off site. I don't think the WCG Techies deal with off site storage issues? If I'm wrong please correct me.
