Well tomorrow morning will be scooting up the M6 to Haggis Land.....expect to be passing Lancaster about 1030 so will give you a wave Dens.......back next Friday.....

Morning all
----------------------------------------Yesterday . Loaded two Transit vans with tables, chairs, water,two inflatable gantries, Banana's race timing kit generators blowers . & a host of other stuff Its our annual Cross bay half marathon okay if its cool bad news if its raining Caught in the middle of Morecambe bay in the sort of rain we had yesterday afternoon would not be fun check the link http://www.crossbay.org.uk/ PS These vans we hired for the weekend booked some weeks ago when we went to collect the firm said " oops we have an issue" "someone" had let one of the vans out after a little messing about they took all of the seats out of a mini bus. Then another "issue" the Numpty behind the desk when checking my Driving Licence found I was over 70 we dont insure dr4ivers on hire vehicles past 70 years !!! I tried to reassure him that there were lots of driver's who had past 70 Stirling Moss for one who were trusted to drive othe folks cars And I could not go too fast as I'd keep it in second gear with the Hand brake applied   ---------------------------------------- [Edit 3 times, last edit by densnaps at Jun 15, 2013 12:30:18 PM] |
