mclaver, it doesn't feel any different when ranked around 100 and all the overtakes keep happening.
----------------------------------------Another 5 years and I will be where you are now which is a wonderful achievement by the way.... the difference is that by then I will be lucky to be in the top 200 I reckon. We all just do what we can..... in the sure knowledge that between us we are getting the work done and giving the scientists the breaks they are looking for. ![]() |

Quick question. How do you get the image of your stats in your signature? The one with the black background?

We on the RippleLabs team, salute you, sir. And you guys on the Ripple Labs Team are great. The contribution you are making to WCG is HUGE. I just need to win the Lottery so I can buy enough horsepower to keep up. ![]() If you bounced to the ripple team for a while, with your production, you could probably buy a rig soon, or pay your electric bill. I've got a few hundred set aside in cyberspace somewhere, that'll pay for stuff when i'm overseas, (assuming it keeps growing). ![]() |

I am doing this as a volunteer....I was not looking to make money on it. Me too, however, I thought the same as you and it's commendable. Then I got to thinking about volunteering work in general, and in almost all cases you are rarely left out of pocket, so I looked into the Ripple give away as a way to cover some of the electric bill as an 'Expense' of my volunary work... It will never cover the cost of the hardware or all of the electric bill, but as they say 'Every Little Helps' and if I'm paying less on the electric bill, there's more for hardware upgrades to return more results to the project and that has to be a good thing! |
