I believe in the cause. I am willing to invest significant time and resources(money) to get dell/emachines/gateway/compaq to have wcg installed as the default screensaver on the systems.
Is anyone else making progress in this area? If yes, please contact me (charitylover@hush.com). If not, I need contacts. Contacts with Boinc developers, and/or UD. If we can get 1 of these heavy hitters on board, it will change the world for the better. |

I can see it's going to be a real chore getting the Bill and Melinda gates to see the proposal through all the clutter. I got an instant auto responder message from them :( And I'm trying to give them money and time, not take it!

Bill will gladly take your money but only if you agree to install his buggy software on your computer. It's his idea of humor.
 Getting the major manufacturers to install BOINC/UD as the default screensaver (and very similar ideas) has been mentioned in these forums already and discussed to some extent. AFAIK, nobody is pitching the idea to any of the manufacturers but what do mushrooms know. |

i think the main reason they dont want somthing like this is it my hit
the preformanc of the machine sold, a custumer could intrepet it like some adware or some, but they could install it but the cusumer would have to activate it somthing like they migth agree |
