Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Good morning everyone. How about a few opinions. Not sure what holidays are celebrated around the world but our new DM at work (AutoZone) came in and cleaned house. He threw away our new Christmas tree we just bought last year (didn't even ask if anyone wanted it) and because the RM is coming Wednesday he said we can't dress up for Halloween (which we've always done to go along with the candy we hand out to customers and children). Some of us have, of course, decided to dress up anyway.

What do y'all think. Is he wrong or are we nuts?

Oh by the way, forgot to mention that it has always been company orders to place certain items on and around the Christmas tree and all previous DM's have encouraged envolvement for holidays.

Cheers

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

You wouldn't know it by looking at the man in the t-shirt standing on the street corner, but if you listen, it's easy to tell that David Juritz is a world class musician. He's just traded in concert halls for street corners. The violinist left his London home on June 9 and has since traveled the globe as a street performer, raising money to fund music education for some of the world's poorest children. Near Stanford University, he raised $500 in an hour; in Berlin, he got $16 after 3 windy, rainy hours; and in all, he's collected over $65K. But his best moments aren't associated with large amounts of money, he adds

On December the fifth (or earlier if you like) you can come and play Judas Maccabeus to my grandchildren for eight days if you want to. He was, of course, the prototype of St. Nicholas - the original Santa Klaus.
