Good news is .... Lad due back from that Sandy place and we are to go to Welsh Wales for a welcome home Parade Some Damm cretion's (young wimmin ) in Leatherhead complaining about limbless soldiers using the leasure center pool 'cause its upseting the kids and they had paid for entry and weere denied the whole pool Holy Sh1T let me at em I was never harmed as a youngster in 1950's by seeing the poor souls that Archie Mackindo delt with in East grinstead plastic surgery unit very deformed but brave guys really angry that they dont see the real world Really share your anger Den!! When will these people get into the real world?!!  Don't know they are born, do they?Really glad he is coming home though - any chance it is for good, or does he have to go back at some point? |

Yes Den, I too remember the guys at East Grinstead, often meeting some of them in the Station buffet. They were always so bloody cheerful it was difficult to believe their built up faces were real. As for now, it is our collective guilt which I share that allowed our guys to be involved in a senseless and unwarranted war. The only thing that made me vote Labour at the last election was that our local MP had voted against it, as he had indeed against all the other things that I thought unwarranted. |

So glad your lad is coming back! Don't worry about having a rant if you need one. I so agree with you and it is good to get these things off your chest. Ted, your day trips sound like a lot of fun.  I'd still like to get you on one of my day-trips to somewhere sunny (or icy) though.  |

Ted, your day trips sound like a lot of fun. I'd still like to get you on one of my day-trips to somewhere sunny (or icy) though. You'd go on a day trip in the space shuttle if they did them  |
