November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With the night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.

Throw another log on the fire and open up the toddy, winter has thrown her mantle but thats no reason not to be jolly.
Be of good cheer for as night follows day,
Spring will will soon be here to blow the mantle away.
